Core Balancing test
In the core balancing process, we have reduced the imbalance limit by 60% compared to the OE expected standards, ensuring quiet and prolonged turbocharger operation. The core balancing test is made by 100.00 – 300.000 rpm depending on the version of the turbocharger. The test is made with various rpm levels to make sure that the turbocharger will work perfectly.
Calibrating
The important step in the process is calibrating the turbocharger. Meeting the control unit requirements for specific airflow is crucial, as it significantly influences driveability, emissions, and economy. Neglecting this crucial operation may lead to premature failure of other parts and impact car performance, such as over-boost at low rpm or low pressure when the engine is under load.
End of line
After the entire testing process, the fully assembled and adjusted turbocharger undergoes an additional “end of line test” where it is connected to a test bench to confirm the proper execution of the remanufacturing process.
